Edwin Licona is a producer, director, media executive, and cultural connector with years of experience in comedy, television, and content distribution. As the creator and executive producer of HBO's Entre Nos franchise, he helped launch the careers of comedians Ralph Barbosa, Alfred Robles, Aida Rodriguez, Orlando Leyba, Ian Lara, Chris Estrada, Frankie Quiñones, Jesus Sepulveda, Erik Rivera and many more. Having produced more than 10 HBO Half Hour comedy specials and directed projects featuring Gary Owen, Craig Ferguson, and Erik Rivera, Licona has built a reputation for discovering talent, building audiences, and bridging the gap between culture and mainstream entertainment. Today, he is leveraging that experience to build Grande Comedy the premier digital first ecosystem for English speaking Latino comedy.
